Hi everyone. I’m the owner of The Lodge at River Run, Laura Ball. I can’t tell you how much it has meant to us to know your concern for Bobbie and the B&B. Bobbie is fine. She was at the lodge when the flood happened. She was in her garage apartment, which was not affected by the flood.
We are thankful she is safe and well. The lodge on the other hand was flooded on the ground floor. The water rose about 4 feet inside the house. Everything under 4 feet was damaged. We are in the process of drying out the rooms, then replacing the sheetrock and most of the cabinets and appliances. We are expecting the process to last several months. In time the lodge will be repaired and better than ever. Thank you for your concern, calls and prayers. Hopefully you will return to our B&B when we reopen. We love our guests and will miss you not being here. Thank you for your understanding. 🤎
