Bar Harbor Cottages welcomes our return guests and our first time visitors for our upcoming 2020 Season!

Acknowledging the special circumstances this year we want to be sure you are aware of the important and unique qualities our property has to offer.

The very nature of our individual boutique cottages lends themselves to the concept of self-isolating while simultaneously getting away and enjoying the vast array of open areas and breathtaking views Mt. Desert Island has to offer.

We are located a few miles outside of the downtown area in the serene and secluded neighborhood of Salsbury Cove so you are able to avoid the crowds.

Our location near Acadia National Park gives convenient access to its miles and miles of wooded trails and carriage roads to enjoy hiking and biking, its rugged shoreline and beaches and scenic drives throughout.

Cleanliness and sanitizing is assured and always a point of pride. We always have held the highest standards in our cleaning procedures and rest assured the regular cleaning and disinfecting is first in our minds this season.

As usual our check-in procedure doesn’t involve the need for face to face interaction with our virtual check-in and check-out.

You will enjoy any amenities and assistance when needed and seclusion when desired. Upon arrival all guests will find their cottage open with their personal packet inside - including their keys, a map and an abundance of local information about restaurants and attractions.

While we are on the property, we are also available via email and phone. So, while we enjoy the personal interaction with our wonderful guests, it is not at all necessary.

Your Cottage is your own while you are here with plenty of outdoor space and privacy.

All Cottages are equipped with a dining table, kitchenette and private picnic table. Prepare your own meals or enjoy any of the many wonderful local restaurants nearby, dining in or taking out.
