If you are visiting this week, please note that the Cadillac Summit Road is closed for paving until Thursday morning.

"The National Park Service (NPS) plans to close Cadillac Summit Road in Acadia National Park to all uses from Monday, May 6, at 6:00 a.m. through Thursday, May 9, at 8:00 am for repaving and striping. All vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian access is prohibited during the closure."

Happy Day!

Today, Acadia National Park's Carriage Roads & Park Loop Road re-open for the season!

For the next few weeks, Carriage Roads are open to pedestrian foot traffic only. They will open for bikes and horses once they dry out a bit more. This is to protect from damage while the roads are still fairly wet.

We always recommend checking the Park's website for any closures before making your plans:
