Fall is putting on a show right outside the Bird's Nest windows this week.

This southwest corner room catches the afternoon light, the best of the color change, and a panoramic view of the valley below. Prints from Wisconsin wildlife artist Owen Gromme line the walls.

A queen bed waits for you after a day outside. Wake up to birds in the garden and coffee brewing downstairs.

We're starting to see some nice fall colors around the Baraboo Hills region. This shot was taken last evening at Devil's Lake State Park, less than a mile from the Inn.

Not yet. But soon.

It’s still mostly green around the Inn today, but over the next few weeks the gardens and surrounding Baraboo Hills will begin looking a lot more like this.

Fall is one of the best times to be here, especially once the color starts moving across the bluff. If you’ve been thinking about an October stay, it would be wise to start looking at dates soon. 🦉
