Until We Meet Again ❤️

As another camping season comes to an end, it's hard to believe it's already time to say goodbye and close our gates for the winter.

To all of our wonderful campers, thank you for making the 2026 season so special. Whether you spent a weekend with us, stayed for the entire season, or stopped by just to enjoy a little time away, you have helped make this campground feel like home.

We've shared laughs, made memories, enjoyed beautiful days, weathered a few storms, and created friendships that make this place so much more than just a campground. It's the people who come here that make it special, and we are truly grateful for each and every one of you.

For our seasonal campers, thank you for another year of memories, friendship, and making this campground your home away from home. We will miss seeing your smiling faces, hearing your stories, and watching everyone enjoy their little piece of paradise.

As you pack up, head home, and settle in for the winter, please know that you will be missed. The campground may be quiet for a while, but the memories we've made will keep us smiling until spring.

From all of us, thank you for being part of our 2026 season. Travel safely, stay warm, enjoy the holidays, and take good care of yourselves.

This isn't goodbye… it's simply "see you in the spring!"

Until then, remember: Once you're part of our campground family, you're always part of our campground family.

With warm hearts and grateful thanks,
Your Campground Family, Batesville KOA Jody and Michele ❤️

In 1970, 25¢ got you a pamphlet chocked-full of KOA campgrounds. In 2026, we still have our KOA Directory, guiding campers throughout North America. No need to send us a quarter, though - you can keep the change. 😉

Pick up a copy of the KOA Directory at any KOA campground, or find our digital copy here: http://koa.uberflip.com/i/1543262-koa-2026-directory-digital/0

Happy , campers!

This week, we're heading to the Hoosier State’s Land of 101 Lakes. This campground is a lakeside retreat, perfectly positioned off the longest road in the U.S. This is year-round camping at its finest, whether you're here to stay or just passing through.

The amenities list at this campground is long. Like, really long. We're talking four playgrounds, co****le, volleyball, and basketball. A pristine private sandy beach. A dock for fishing and boating. Even a fish cleaning station! You could easily spend your entire trip exploring what's available right onsite. And with hundreds of campsites to choose from, every type of camper finds their perfect spot. Pro tip: if you’re bringing your four-legged camper, be sure to check out this KOA’s Paw Pen Sites.

Need to venture off-property? The campground's namesake town is just 5 miles away. Plus, you're less than three hours from Chicago, Detroit, and Indianapolis, making this the ideal home base or convenient stopover for any road trip.

So... which KOA is this? Drop your best guess in the comments below! We'll reveal the answer tomorrow. Good luck!

While KOAs offer a consistent basecamp across North America, the landscapes surrounding them are entirely unique. Take, for instance, our northernmost and southernmost campgrounds.

Up near the Arctic Circle, Fairbanks / Chena River KOA in North Pole, Alaska, sits right along the Chena River. It’s the ultimate basecamp for spotting moose and eagles, exploring the tundra, and witnessing the breathtaking Aurora Borealis.

Travel nearly 5,000 miles southeast, and you’ll trade the tundra for paradise at the Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Resort in the Florida Keys. Here, warm ocean waters, sunny beaches, and iguanas take center stage.

North, South, East, or West, from the pine trees to the palms, there's a KOA waiting for you. ☺️⛺️🌲🌴

It's time for , campers!

Combine prehistoric finds with all the benefits of modern camping at this week's KOA. Strategically located near Route 191, this campground is the perfect pit stop for Western road trippers.

The campground's variety of RV sites accommodates everyone, from the van lifers to the motorhome enthusiasts. Choose from pull-thru, back-in, or KOA Patio sites and spend less time setting up and more time relaxing. No RV? No problem. Stay in a ultra-comfy Deluxe Cabin or a classic tent site.

The area is known for its abundance of dino finds. Under 20 miles away is Dinosaur National Monument, where you can see over 1,500 fossils on exposed cliff face. Other state parks in the area provide boating and fishing with views of dinosaur tracks along the way. After you've channeled your inner paleontologist, camp is a welcome respite. Challenge your fellow campers to a game of horseshoes or giant jenga, cool off in the pool, or take in a movie under the stars.

The question is - what KOA are we talking about? Comment your best guess below! The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's comments.

Try this delicious recipe as a great fall dessert. 😋
