🏕️ Camp Wise is proud of our 2026 Mandel Myers Fellows! Congratulations to these incredible young leaders — we’re lucky to have them in our community. 💙

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland is proud to announce the 2026 class of Mandel Myers Fellows — 83 students who spent their summers working at Jewish overnight camps.

Through the fellowship, young adults gain valuable work experience, receive financial support toward their college education, and benefit from workshops and mentorship that help them grow personally and professionally.

Join Mishkan Or for day 2 of Rosh Hashanah at Camp Wise. Registration preferred

🍎🍯🌿 This year, we’re taking the second day of Rosh Hashanah outdoors for an intergenerational celebration at Camp Wise, a day for everyone, young children, teens, parents, and grandparents alike.

There are three family-based activity choices for you to choose from:

🥾 Family Hike

Journey into the new year with Camp Wise leaders on a family hike through the beautiful fall forests of Camp Wise. We’ll follow a small ravine and natural spring, explore the unique geology of our region, and pause to notice the plants, trees, animals, and holiness of the natural world around us. This easy-to-moderate hike will include some small hills and is designed for families and participants of all ages.

🤝 Family Communication & Teamwork Challenge

Take on the Camp Wise low ropes course together as a family! Through fun, easy-to-moderate challenges involving balance, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, families will practice supporting one another and working toward shared goals for the new year. No prior climbing experience is needed, just open minds, open hearts, and a willingness to work together. This is best for families whose youngest member is in second grade or older.

🎨💖 Arts of the Soul & Heart

Join us in the Camp Wise Art Shack for a creative exploration of cheshbon hanefesh, reflection on the year that has passed and setting intentions for the year ahead. Using natural and found materials, families will create their own wishing rocks and New Year dream catchers inspired by their hopes for 5787. All creative minds and thoughtful hearts are welcome!

The Staff Scholarship is one of Camp Wise’s highest honors, recognizing staff members who truly embody what it means to lead, inspire, and live our camp values every day.

Nominated by their peers and selected by past scholarship recipients, this award celebrates those who consistently step up, support others, and make a lasting impact on our camp community.

Congratulations to this year’s Staff Scholarship winners: Jenna Klein (Ohalim Supervisor), Florah Greenberg (Noar Counselor/Programmer), Yahli Schwartz (Horseback Riding Supervisor), Angela Rakhmistrovskaya (Ropes Specialist), and Bodhi Woll (Ohalim Counselor/Programmer).
