Boone Valley Campground is offering private group rentals on their pontoon boat for an evening cruise on the Kentucky River during the community fireworks display.
Guests will float to where the North and South Forks of the Kentucky River meet for a direct view of the fireworks lighting up the mountain sky around Happy Top Mountain Community Park beginning around 9:45 PM.
Fireworks reflecting across the water, mountain silhouettes, and a peaceful summer evening make for a one-of-a-kind Appalachian experience.
