Oz is reopening this September!! Hoo-ray! Tickets will sell out fast so keep your eyes open for their release date!

Great news! Land of Oz reopens this year for Autumn at Oz in September and a new immersive experience in June. More details to come! These events will be held at the remains of the former amusement park atop Beech Mtn, NC, that operated 1970-1980. There were no events there in 2025. Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Wizard. Get your costumes ready! Your favorite Oz characters and songs return for a homecoming.

🐻 Grand re-opening just in time for late fall and holiday bookings!!! 🐻 Peaceful Bear has been closed to (non-family) guests since late summer as we’ve installed a brand new heating system as well as newly stained all outdoor logs and decking. We currently have openings now through Christmas!! We miss our guests and would SOOOO love to have you visit our idyllic mountain lodge. Airbnb link in comments.
