It is with VERY mixed emotions that Blake & I announce that we are no longer going to have Lakeview Cottage available for rent. For the past 10 years we have rented our cottage to some amazing families. So many have loved Lakeview Cottage as much as we do. But alas times and things change. Our children & grandchildren need & want to spend more time at the cottage and so a decade of cottage rentals has come to a close. Many thanks to the families who have vacationed here. We hope and pray that our paths will cross again on the shore of Lake Bellaire. Know that you're always welcome at the "blue cottage" for a reminiscing conversation and a cold beverage. "May the loons be with you!"

BAKERY NEWS:
Like many of our fellow Downtown Bellaire businesses, we are dealing with a significant staffing situation. The current shortage of year-round staff, combined with the seasonal loss of our college-aged team, in addition to an extremely difficult job market that has been created in our state has now required us to make some difficult business decisions. We have held out for as long as possible, but we are now forced to make some changes in our Storefront hours.

NEW HOURS EFFECTIVE 08/09/2021
Monday thru Thursday 8a-3p
Friday & Saturday 8a-4p
Sunday 9a-2p

WE WILL STILL BE HERE TO SERVE YOU 7 DAYS A WEEK

Staffing will be minimal, so please be patient & kind. We are trying to find people that want/need to work, but the viable pool of candidates is very shallow. If you know of anyone that is truly looking for work, and is dependable, please send them our way.

2021 continues to be another record year, and we thank YOU for your support. We hope you find it possible to continue to support us.

Summer is right around the corner and we are happy to say that Lakeview Cottage is full! Each of our rental weeks is reserved for our returning rental families. We are truly blessed to have families who love Lake Bellaire as much as we do and take care of our cottage as if it were their own. For many of our families they are introducing the next generation to a true "up north" vacation experience at Lakeview Cottage. We are also happy to say that all of our families "Miley's Families." They all vacationed at the wonderful & memorable Miley's Resort on Lake Bellaire. Happy Summer Everyone!

Happy New Year to all. As soon as I turn the calendar to the new year, I begin to think about summer time at Lakeview Cottage. We are so very grateful to have wonderful rental families who treasure not only their vacation time on Lake Bellaire, but also our cottage. Our 2020 rental calendar is full for this summer and I am sorry to say we do not have any rental weeks available this summer. Should we have a cancellation I will post to let everyone know.
