About Us
Jim and Denise Lanning were lucky enough to purchase the Spring Creek House and the surrounding three and a half acres which is now known as Camp Breac. Camp Breac stands for wild brown trout (Donn Breac) in Old Irish/Gaelic. Jim’s dream is to provide a place where veterans, their families, and other folks can meet outdoors and enjoy the peace of being streamside. The idea is to maintain the land and water using best conservation practices.
Jim’s goal is to exceed your expectations as host and keep everything well maintained. He keeps busy with conservation projects, the veteran service programs, and improving Camp Breac.
Community Service organizations, such as ClearWater Conservancy, often meet here to plan or celebrate their work in our community.
Please come and enjoy the beauty of Spring Creek Canyon, our watersheds, and the surrounding countryside. Do as you like while you are here, as this is the mission of Camp Breac and the Spring Creek House.
