The Wishmaker House is located in the heart of the village of Bellville, Ohio. Originally built as a doctor's residence, it has also been know as the Myers Furniture Wishmaker House for 47 years. In 2010 the landmark was purchased by Brad and Karen Smith, who did extensive renovations turning it into a Bed & Breakfast. The Wishmaker House opened in August 2013 and has welcomed guests from all over the country. In 2018, the Wishmaker was purchased by Donnie and Jennifer Vanmeter who expanded the restaurants hours and menus to include Jennifer's famous cheesecakes! We are also home to the Wishmaker House Winery where Donnie produces some of the finest wines in the area. We make 23 wines on site and have received numerous awards showcasing some of our signature wines such as Daydreamer, Midnight Rendezvous and Harvest Moon a Gold medal winner at Ohio Wines Competition. We hope you will consider the Wishmaker House when you are in the Central Ohio area.

🍰 A little sweetness for those making a big difference! ❤️

Kennedy Newman chose to gift a cheesecake to Mayor Jodie Perry - City of Mansfield, Ohio’s office in downtown Mansfield as a small thank-you for all the time, thought, and vision that go into the Beautification of Mansfield project.

As a dancer who spends 4–5 days a week downtown, Kennedy has a special appreciation for the places where our community gathers, grows, and spends so much of its time. She understands that investing in the beauty and future of our downtown makes a difference not only for local businesses, but also for the families, students, and visitors who experience it every day.

Sometimes, the smallest gestures are a meaningful way to recognize the people working behind the scenes to make our community a better place. We’re grateful for the vision and dedication being poured into Mansfield! ✨
