Meet a few of the hardest working little members of April Hill Ranch. 🤭🦆

Carolyn is giving a little peek into one of the many things happening behind the scenes at April Hill Ranch: their flock of 37 ducks, lovingly raised by her daughter Esther, with 9 more currently hatching in the incubator!

These ducks are more than just fun to watch waddling around the ranch. Their eggs are enjoyed by Carolyn and her family, shared with others, and even served as part of the farm-to-table meal accommodations available for overnight stays and special events.

Fun fact: duck eggs are typically larger than chicken eggs, with richer yolks and a little extra creaminess, making them a favorite for baking, cooking, and hearty country breakfasts.

It is one of the many details that makes April Hill Ranch more than just a place to stay or gather. It is a working ranch where the meals, the animals, and the experience all come together to make your time here feel even more meaningful. 🌾🫶✨
