It was truly a pleasure having you and your adorable pups out here enjoying the campground, the shade trees, and the dog park. Reviews like this are the campfire fuel that keeps us going. 🐾

We work hard to make Big Tex a peaceful, relaxing place to kick back during Canton Trade Days weekends and beyond, so hearing that it was one of your best RV campground experiences means the world to us.

Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or a cookout under the Texas sky. It’s a moment to reflect on the sacrifices that allow us the freedom to gather with family, travel, laugh around campfires, and enjoy peaceful places like this.

From all of us at Big Tex Campgrounds, thank you to those who served, those who sacrificed, and the families who carry their memory forward every day.

Our Food Truck Night is rolling in with BBQ flavor this week as Southern Grills Gone Wild BBQ pulls into Big Tex Campgrounds this Wednesday! Expect smoky favorites, comfort food classics, and “just one more bite” plates that end with sauce on your fingers and zero regrets.
