🕊️ Honoring the Memory of Our Dear Colleague, Christy.

It is with profoundly heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our valued team member and cherished friend, Christy. As she is laid to rest tomorrow, our entire team is reflecting on the incredible impact she made during her time here at Cypress.
Christy was so much more than a coworker; she was the heart of our workplace. Whether she was lighting up the room with her smile, or handling every challenge with grace and patience, her presence brought genuine warmth and comfort to everyone around her.
The office feels vastly different without her, and her absence will be deeply felt by our team and the customers she served so dedicatedly.
We extend our deepest, most heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones during this unimaginably painful time. We stand with you in grief and remembrance.
Rest in peace, Christy. You will never be forgotten.

🔥 BOSSIER PARISH BURN BAN

KNOW WHAT YOU CAN — AND CANNOT — BURN

🚨 BURN BAN IN EFFECT

Bossier Parish is currently under a parish-wide burn ban due to extreme heat, dry conditions, and increased wildfire danger.

❌ NO BURNING IN FIRE RINGS

During the burn ban:

DO NOT USE FIRE RINGS FOR OPEN BURNING.

This includes:

❌ Campfires
❌ Wood fires in fire rings
❌ Burn pits
❌ Burn barrels
❌ Brush or debris burning
❌ Other open burning

If it produces an open wood fire, DON'T BURN IT.

✅ ABOVE-GROUND GRILLS ARE OK

Gas and charcoal grills ARE allowed.

You may use an above-ground grill for cooking, but please:

✔️ Keep the grill away from grass, leaves and other flammable materials.
✔️ Watch the grill while it is in use.
✔️ Keep sparks and embers contained.
✔️ Completely extinguish charcoal and ashes when finished.
✔️ Never leave a hot grill unattended.
🔥 FIRE RING ≠ GRILL

FIRE RING:
🚫 NO BURNING

ABOVE-GROUND GAS OR CHARCOAL GRILL:
✅ COOKING IS ALLOWED

⚠️ WHY THE BAN?

Bossier Parish officials say prolonged lack of rainfall, dry ground and stressed vegetation have significantly increased the risk of wildfires and rapid fire spread.

🛑 WHEN IN DOUBT — DON'T BURN

The burn ban remains in effect until further notice and will be lifted when conditions improve sufficiently.
