Thanksgiving preorders are still open, too. Order early to secure your favorites before we reach capacity and close ordering.

We’re hiring—and this opportunity comes with a place to call home.

The Inn Berlin is seeking a Live-In Innkeeper / Assistant General Manager to join our small team in Berlin, Maryland.

If you love welcoming guests, preparing beautiful breakfasts, and taking care of the details that make a stay memorable, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a full-time, permanent role with:
• $20–$25 per hour, based on experience
• A private onsite apartment with water, gas, and electricity included
• Three weeks of paid vacation during our annual January closure
• A defined work schedule and days off

Hospitality experience and confident cooking skills are important; supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Early morning, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Our kitchen is dedicated gluten-free. Familiarity with celiac disease is welcome, and we’ll provide training in our kitchen procedures.

October is here, and we’re changing things up a little for fall.

These are our monthly October specials, but they won’t be the only new things you’ll see from us. We often add a special or two for the weekend, so make sure you’re checking our Stories Friday, Saturday and Sunday to see what we have that day.

With the close of our farmers market season, waffles are moving from the bakery truck into the bakery! You’ll still be able to get our fresh Liège waffles—just come see us at the bakery instead. And who is ready for The McMary!?!

Most importantly, remember our new fall hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM–2 PM. We will not be participating in the farmers market in October.

Preorders are always recommended, especially for our monthly specials. We’re looking forward to a beautiful fall in Berlin and a really delicious October at the bakery.

Flaky layers don’t happen by accident.

Yes, that’s us standing in the same spot for hours, laminating dough by hand—rolling, folding, and building layer after layer after layer of butter into our pastry dough.

From there, we shape it into danishes, pinwheels, croissant-style pastries, and whatever else we’re dreaming up that week.

Made from scratch. Laminated by hand. Buttery, flaky, and always gluten free.
