Sweet layers of poached pears, pistachio mascarpone cream, and ladyfingers soaked in pear nectar come together in this delicious tiramisu-inspired dessert, finished with a sprinkle of chopped pistachios. 🍐💚

The hardest part? Waiting a few hours for it to chill before enjoying every bite!

🎨 Yesterday, residents had the opportunity to meet Jamie Royer, the artist behind the artwork on display in the P26 Suites for the next three months! From learning about the inspiration behind her paintings to exploring the textures of her work firsthand, residents enjoyed a meaningful, hands-on look into Jamie’s artistic process. 🖼️✨

Moravian Village is proud to sponsor Otto of the Friends of the Bethlehem Mounted Police named after Moravian physician Dr. John Matthew Otto who helped prevent a smallpox epidemic in Bethlehem through early inoculation practices. From the Apothecary in 1743 to to the care we provide today, our commitment to health and well-being continues!

Residents, Moravian Village staff, local Moravian pastors, and community members came together to meet Otto as well as Star and celebrate this meaningful connection between Bethlehem’s history and our continued mission of care. ❤️

There is a certain energy when it comes to percussion and its unlike any other instrument.
Yesterday our memory unit residents gathered around a djembe drum. A simple 4 count pattern was created and, one by one, they repeated it.

We then moved on to improvisation. Allowing them to create their own beat. Residents surprised others and themselves with what they could do.

The best moment? A new resident chose a "cha cha" style pattern that got everyone in the circle dancing in their seats.

We ended our "Music Monday" with songs sung over a ukulele all while leaning in to create a beat of their own to go with the song.

Our resident's lives are enriched no matter where they are in life's journey.
