📢SPEAKER SPOTLIGHT: KEVIN MCAFEE📢

Kevin was born and raised in Hodgdon, Maine. He now pastors part-time at the same youth group that he attended as a student at Houlton Wesleyan Church. Kevin is a social worker by trade and, more recently, a pastor by calling, having just stepped into a ministry role last summer. He and his wife Emma, to whom he has been married 5 years, and their 2-year old son Josiah enjoy spending time outside, playing games, and chasing their 3 cats.

Kevin enjoys hiking, fishing, reading, playing and watching basketball, and his new found hobby of birding. He has been involved in Riverside for 4 summers now, and is looking forward to speaking at this year's Riverside Days.

📢SPEAKER SPOTLIGHT: RICH AC THOMAS📢

Rich AC Thomas hails from Digby, Nova Scotia, and has dedicated over two decades to pastoral ministry in the state of Maine. For the past six years, he has served as the pastor at Easton Wesleyan Church and as a chaplain at the local hospital. Rich is happily married to his wife Katie, with whom he has shared 23 wonderful years, and they are proud parents to their 18-year-old son, Riley, and Clara, their beloved bully mix.

When not engaged in ministry, Rich enjoys nurturing his garden, experimenting with canning, and exploring the art of quilting, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life.

We can’t wait to hear what Rich brings to Riverside Days!

📢SPEAKER SPOTLIGHT: AJ THOMAS📢

AJ Thomas has spent two and a half decades in ministry in local churches of every size both in the US and Canada.
AJ currently serves as Executive Director of the Atlantic Kingdom Alliance and as a teaching pastor at Kings Church in Quispamsis New Brunswick where he lives with his wife Kelly, their large fluffy cat and their tiny hairless dog. When not hanging out with the aforementioned you can find AJ in his woodworking shop or the gym. Or bed. He likes naps.

Preparation for our summer programming got well underway this morning with our first work day of the season! We are so thankful for everyone who lent a hand!

If you were not able to make it and are wondering what other ways you can help out, check out our wish list! From tools to make the kitchen life easier for our cooking crew, to fun yard games for our campers, every little gift goes a long way!

Because of your generosity, the new Tabernacle roof is becoming a reality! Without your giving, prayers, or support, none of this could’ve happened!

God has been faithfully using riverside for over 100 years to impact lives and strengthen faith. This isn’t a simple building project, it’s an investment in the ministry that will continuously serve campers and families for years to come.

Our work isn’t done yet, we have opportunities to help complete this project and other facility improvements.
