“Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” Genesis 9:16

There’s something especially meaningful about seeing a rainbow over Sanctuary Hills. In Genesis 9, God gives the rainbow as a sign of His covenant with Noah, a reminder of His faithfulness and His promise.

We take that covenant seriously. It reminds us that what God has entrusted to us is not ours to take for granted. This land, this place, and the opportunity to welcome others here are gifts we have a responsibility to care for well.

But the rainbow also points us toward something greater. It reminds us that this life is not the end. We have a promise and a hope that reaches beyond this place, to the day when we will be reunited with Jesus and spend eternity with Him.

Until then, we’re grateful to care for this little piece of His creation and make Sanctuary Hills a place where people can slow down, gather, and remember what truly matters.

It’s the little things that make a stay feel a little more comfortable. ☕️

Our cottages have kitchenettes on both the top and bottom levels, making it easy to grab a cup of coffee, a snack, or a drink without having to leave your level or disturb the rest of the group.

Each kitchenette includes a coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, complimentary K-cups, and coffee grounds from our very own Sanctuary Hills Coffee.

Whether you’re staying with your family or here for a retreat, we want you to have everything you need to settle in, slow down, and feel at home.

What a weekend at Sanctuary Hills!

We had the privilege of welcoming both Cedar Grove and Fusion Church of Madison for a weekend filled with hard work, fellowship, discipleship, worship, and testimony.

Cedar Grove, the latest church to embrace the REAL MOMENTUM model for reaching and leading men, spent the last two days helping us complete projects on our Barn, which we’re so excited to use for retreats, men’s events, date nights, and so much more. And there’s still more to be done!

Fusion Church of Madison also joined us for their 3rd men’s retreat, with 42 men being encouraged in biblical manhood, learning to tell their story with the Gospel, and learning to pray the Scriptures.

Pastor Matt and the men of Fusion continue to lead the church in discipling men, and it was so special to see both churches worship together and testify to the goodness of God.
So grateful for the men, the ministries, and the work God is doing at Sanctuary Hills.

When a husband and wife choose to walk in oneness before God, serve one another, love others well, and point people toward Jesus, their marriage becomes a mission.

We’re so excited to explore this subject more during our October Marriage Retreat and dive deeper into what it looks like to live on mission together as a couple.
