Goood morning from the balladstead.. this morning mary and I are prepping for the day. We have alot of things that need to be done before the end of the year and man the end of the year is rolling up quick. It always feels like there is not enough time in the year to get everything we need done!! Haha.. k. So today we have multiple shuttles. J'dan is on a hiawassee holiday inn to indian graves gap shuttle and these cats we will be also picking them up at indian graves later today and bringing them back to the holiday. I believe they are doing an out and back hike. So yesterday we had a hiker that needed some assistance with a ride for their friend from dicks creek gap to tray gap and so i told them i had j'dan scooping a blue ridge gap at 4 p.m. and the hikers will be going to dicks creek and so i could have j'dan there by 4:20 ish to 4:30 pm the absolute latest. The hiker is someone we work with and they were ready to pay whatever and so we charge 80 dollars for the ride from dicks to tray gap and i informed the hiker of the price and they were asking our venmo without hesitation. They know we do not play around so there were no questions. Hahaha.. j/k.. So the problem was the rider got back to their forerunner and man they were having an issue starting the vehicle and so they got out and inspected the engine and they found that a mouse, squirrel, chipmunk, critter of some sort chewed a wire somewhere near or on the coil packs. So the person had their car parked there for a few days only. I was blown away how fast the critters hit dudes car. Huge bummer and so they were going to tow the vehicle down to toyota near him. I sent him over some phone numbers of the local taxi's we use and set them up for the ride and sent j'dan over to take care of them. Super bummer.. after that we sent j'dan down to grab some food at mike lees, but they were not doing take out due to homecoming and so we went to another spot called sicilies and man it was alright. I was hoping for mike lees meat balls cause they are baaaaanging with some pasta and red sauce with a house salad with italian dressing and some bread and possibly gelato with caramel that i brewed up and that is banging and probably the best btach i have ever made!! Hahaha.. but, yes!! Haha.. mike lees was not doing take out so we hit siciliys and got the meatballs and pasta and mary got the eggplant parm and j'dan got the chicken parm and we all sat down and ate. It was decent. We had all worked late and so none of us wanted to cook and so were going to do take out no matter what.. hahaa.. i stayed up late and mary went to bed after food and j'dan went to do his online show that he does everynight and so it ended up being an awesome day of working and getting hikers where they need to go and making money to pay the piper.. it does not get much better than that, my friends.
