Did you remember to change your clocks last night? Daylight savings time ends today by setting your clocks back an hour. I remember the saying “fall back” and “spring forward “ to help recall which way to reset my clocks each year.

While we may be in the “fall back” mode, we still have Fall all around us at Cabins at Highland Falls. We’ve been waiting for Halloween all year. How about you?

While the full harvest moon shines brightly overhead, pumpkins rest silently on frosted hillsides waiting for ghosts and goblins to come howling. Witches select their favorite broomstick to sail through the dark skies while black cats hope to hitch a ride. Halloween is near and every child waits in anticipation of bags full of candy and scary costumes they will wear with pride.
