📍 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 – 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀!

The 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗲 will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 9, at 6:30PM to discuss the proposed 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆.

The study identifies four areas of Blooming Prairie where street improvements are being considered for the summer of 2027:

🚧 4th Avenue SW – Between 2nd and 3rd Streets SW

🚧 Memorial Drive South – Between 3rd and 1st Streets SW

🚧 Memorial Drive South – Between 1st Street SW and south of Main Street West

🚧 4th Street NE – Between Highway 218 and Center Avenue

The estimated project cost is $640,000–$647,000. Under the City's assessment policy, affected property owners may be assessed a portion of eligible street improvement costs.

🚓🚒🚑 Happy National First Responders Day!

Today, October 28, we recognize and thank the dedicated men and women who serve and protect our communities.

To our law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and all first responders, thank you for your courage, commitment, and willingness to answer the call when others need you most.

We are especially grateful for the first responders who serve Blooming Prairie and our surrounding communities. Your hard work and sacrifices do not go unnoticed!

🎃 Trick-or-Treat at Prairie Manor & Heather Haus! 🍬

Prairie Manor Inc. and Heather Haus in Blooming Prairie are excited to welcome trick-or-treaters on Halloween night!

📍Bring the kids in their Halloween costumes and help spread some Halloween cheer to the residents!

🕠 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Many of the residents will be handing out candy after their 5:00PM supper, so please plan your visit during the designated trick-or-treating hours.

This is a wonderful opportunity for children and residents to enjoy a little Halloween fun together!

The Sons of the American Legion invite you to their annual Shrimp Boil fundraiser on Saturday, November 7 at the BP Servicemen's Club

Event Details:

Social Hour: 5–6 PM

Dinner: 6–8 PM

Tickets: $25 per person

Location: 210 4th St NE, Blooming Prairie

🎟️ Tickets must be purchased in advance! The last day to purchase tickets is Friday, November 6. No tickets will be sold at the door, and space is limited.

Tickets are available through the Sons of the American Legion or at the BP Servicemen's Club.
