Blowing Rock is #2 and Boone #3 in Southern Living’s Tes Best Mountain Towns. A stay at WWA will have you no more than 30 minutes from both!

North Carolina claims the most reader favorites, but Tennessee took the top spot for the South's Best mountain towns.

Despite being booked solid in July just about the entire month of August is open as well as most of the fall. WWA is a great place to spend the hot days of August as temps are typically much cooler due to the altitude. Need a get-a-way? Check us out!

Our home is very close to Banner Elk. Check out the beauty of the area!

Tourism has taken so many huge hits for areas all across the country during this COVID-19 pandemic. Banner Elk is just one of many quaint mountain towns that are feeling the pain of having basically no tourism visits for the last two months.
