Allenberry Resort & Spa Legend has it that it was the uncle of American Folk hero Davey Crockett who first settled along the Yellow Breeches Creek where Allenberry sits today.

Allenberry is situated upon 75 wooded acres along the Yellow Breeches and welcomes guests with casual dining, wedding and event space, lodging and living opportunities. By 1778, according to county tax rolls, James Crockett owned the then two-farm tract just outside the quaint country town of Boiling Springs. Soon after, he and his family raised a barn and house that, more than 200 years later, are still in use at Central PA’s premiere rustic boutique resort.

This Fourth of July, let us host the party. Spend the day on the grounds — yard games on the lawn, the saltwater pool open all afternoon, and Fourth of July food and drink specials on the Terrace. Then end the night the right way: live music at the Playhouse with Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root with Dirk Miller.
