By 1977, the Tates’ vision continued to spread, this time into the party industry opening Occasions Rentals and the
n rebranded to Tates Tents & Events before selling that part of the business to Idaho Tents and Events. The company’s constant innovation allows us to adapt with the ever changing market evolving into the Treasure Valley’s leader in tool and equipment rental. Today, Tates Rents, Inc dominates the market with 8 Tates Rents tool locations and a Central Service location, Dispatch Hub and now have a McCall, ID location! Tates Rents became a Employee Owned (ESOP) business at the end of 2020.
