Have you been to the Florida Caverns? The Florida Caverns State Park is located near Marianna and is a short half hour drive from the Outback. The park's centerpiece is a series of natural limestone caverns filled with stalactites, stalagmites, and flowstone formations that showcase thousands of years of natural artistry. Beyond the caves, the park encompasses 2,258 acres of diverse natural habitats along the scenic Chipola River, one of Florida's most pristine waterways. While you’re in the area there’s hiking and kayaking opportunities, but the caverns are an excellent escape from summer’s afternoon heat. 🦘
