Two years of Rhode’s ❤️⁠
We’ve weathered storms (literally and figuratively), hosted birthday parties and impromptu clogging sessions, welcomed every kind of four-legged guest, set up an emergency kitchen with after Hurricane Helene, and cheered on new friends as they made our restaurant space their own.⁠

Through it all, we’ve been lifted by this incredible community — and by each other. Thanks for every visit, high five, and memory made along the way. Here’s to the road ahead. 🛣️⁠

Swing by Canteen, now open Thursday through Saturday from 4 to 9 PM for ice-cold local brews, signature cocktails, and wines worth uncorking. While our restaurant remains temporarily closed, the bar is buzzing and is the perfect post-adventure hangout spot. Grab a snack from our market, challenge your buddies to a game of pool, and then settle in and relax by the hearth. ⁠

Hey friends! A quick update to say that Canteen will remain temporarily closed as we focus on restoring full operations at Rhode’s Motor Lodge following Hurricane Helene. We’re prioritizing hosting displaced team members, relief crews, officers, linemen, and a few leisure travelers who are here to help and support our local community. ⁠

Our market area is still open to guests, offering a variety of beer, wine, and snacks that can be enjoyed in our dining room or any of our beautiful outdoor spaces. ⁠

A huge thank you to the Women’s Club of Raleigh and the incredible initiative for donating 20 women’s hygiene kits to support our Rhode’s Motor Lodge team. These kits, each lasting 30 days, are packed with everyday essentials, toiletries, and feminine products, ensuring no woman or girl goes without during these uncertain times. Our COO, Christine, was honored to accept and share these valuable resources with our team. And a special thanks to our amazing friend for helping coordinate this generous effort! ⁠
