Sometimes it's the little things that make the stay. (Sometimes it's the big things, like unlimited free waffles.)

10/16/2026

You're either a 'let's go leaf peeping' kind of fall traveler or a 'summer isn't over yet' kind of fall traveler. Comment 🍁🧣 or ☀️🕶️, we're trying to see something.

10/16/2026

Take two! We caught a little mistake in our earlier graphic, so here's the corrected version!

Whether you’re here for a favorite fall tradition, a mountain getaway, or simply to see where the day takes you, welcome to the High Country! 🍂

It’s going to be a busy weekend, full of the fall celebrations we all love. Between the festivities, we hope you’ll carve out a little time for Downtown Boone, a place to catch your breath, settle in, and enjoy a little more of your time in the mountains. We’ll be here, happy to welcome you. 🧡

If you're Type A, this is a safe space for you. Now go finish that itinerary planning, your friends and families will thank you (eventually)!

Welcome home, Appalachian fans! 💛🖤Happy Homecoming, and Go App State! 🏈

Be honest, how many waffles is too many? (We don’t think it’s possible to have too many waffles.)

Who knew Lincoln, NE had so much to do? (We did.) There's so much to explore from the moment you arrive.

🦋💛

During the September 23 Boone Town Council meeting, the Town Council proclaimed Friday, September 25, 2026, as Dolly Parton Day in the Town of Boone! And what better day than 9/25 to celebrate one of Appalachia’s most beloved icons 🦋

From her humble beginnings in the mountains to becoming one of the most celebrated artists in American music, Dolly never forgot where she came from. Her legacy extends far beyond music. From the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a program that mails one free, high-quality book every month to children from B-5 at no cost to their families, to the My People Fund, Dolly spent her life giving back and showing the power of kindness, compassion, advocacy, and service.

That generosity has touched our mountain communities, too. Following Hurricane Helene, Dolly donated $1 million, matched by $1 million from the Dollywood Foundation, and later contributed another $1 million to support communities across Western North Carolina and East Tennessee. The relief effort went on to raise more than $7 million for people impacted by the storm 💙

So, on 9/25, a nod to her iconic song and film 9 to 5, we’re asking our community members to do “One Good Deed for Dolly.”

🦋 Show kindness to a stranger
🦋 Help a neighbor
🦋 Donate to a nonprofit
🦋 Make someone laugh
🦋 And if you see someone without a smile, give ’em yours

If everyone does just one good thing for someone else, imagine the difference one day can make. Happy Dolly Parton Day, y'all!

🌟 Employee Spotlight 🌟

This week, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Logan, one of our wonderful Front Desk Agents! 💙

Logan has been part of the Hampton family for 2 amazing years, and we’re so grateful to have her on our team!

One of Logan’s favorite parts of the job is checking in our guests who bring along their furry friends. 🐾 When she’s not hard at work, you can find her enjoying one of her favorite local spots, Black Cat Burrito! 🌯

Thank you, Logan, for everything you bring to our team. We appreciate you! 🎉
