Whispertree (formerly Bell Valley Retreat) is a Boonville, California venue for weddings that welcomes you to the beauty and simplicity of a less-is-more celebration on 600+ pristine acres in Anderson Valley, Ca.

At Whispertree you can celebrate without the pressure of fitting into the conventional wedding box. We invite couples with a love of nature (including LGBTQ couples) to craft a unique wedding experience to honor their union and enjoy intimate and nourishing connection with family and friends.

In addition to hosting a limited number of wedding celebrations each year, Whispertree also hosts family reunions, special events, rite-of-passage events and other purposeful gatherings.

Another season at Whispertree. 🍂

The best gatherings feel unmistakably like the people who created them.

The traditions they bring. The things they care about. The little touches that make everyone who knows them think, of course they did that.

No two ever look quite the same here—and that’s just how we like it.

What will make yours feel like you?

Summer may be over, but we’re not ready to call it yet. 🏊

There’s still time for one last swim.

Who’s with us?

Room for all of it.

There’s more than one way to spend a few days at Whispertree.

Gather your team. Bring the family. Host the retreat. Celebrate the wedding.

Hike all afternoon or find a quiet spot and do absolutely nothing.

With 600 acres to make your own, there’s room for all of it.

What will you do with the space?

Weddings have a way of passing in the blink of an eye.

That’s one reason we love a wedding weekend.

It gives the people from different corners of your life time to actually know one another—to linger over dinner, meet for morning yoga, swim in the pond, wander the trails, or spend an afternoon together with nowhere else to be.

Friends who arrived as strangers become friends. Families mingle. Separate circles begin to overlap. By the time the ceremony begins, everyone feels a little more connected to the celebration—and to each other.

At Whispertree, we give you the space to stay awhile. A few 2027 wedding weekends are still available, and 2028 dates are now open.

Not to brag... 💅
..but we never get tired of watching someone’s face the first time they see the property.

The best way to experience Whispertree isn’t through a screen—it’s by walking the land, taking in the views, and seeing how it feels for yourself.

If you’re looking for a place to host a wedding, retreat, offsite, or celebration, we’d love to show you around.

WE ARE FAMILY 🎺🎶

The best wedding celebrations are the ones that feel like you.

A kazoo procession through the valley? We’d say this one is officially on the list.

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s joyful, a little unexpected, and completely your own, we’d love to show you around.

Long evenings.
Good music.
A full dance floor.

Some of the best memories happen after the sun goes down. Now booking 2027 wedding weekends. [email protected]

Okay, sometimes brilliant ideas happen in cubicles.

But perspective has a funny way of showing up when you step outside.

A little more space.
A little less noise.
Sometimes that’s all it takes.
