Our boutique hotel began as three elegant 19th-century residences, later joined together to create Newbury Guest House. Back in 1897, Newbury Street was lined primarily with grand single-family brownstones belonging to prosperous Boston families, complete with servants and horse-drawn carriages.

Today, the carriages are gone, but the character remains.

Step outside and you’ll find boutiques, cafés, restaurants, galleries and some of Boston’s most famous sights. Step back inside, and David and the Newbury Guest House team are here to make you feel at home.
