Columbian Lodge is one of the oldest Masonic Lodges in the United States, instituted in 1795 by Paul Revere.

Columbian Lodge is an active, hard-working Lodge, well-known for a rich tradition of ritual and charity. Our monthly meetings consist of actively bringing in new candidates, conducting the normal business of the Lodge, and planning charitable events and contributions. Our Officers meet additional times during the month to prepare themselves for the meeting ahead. We donate both time and money to various charities, concentrating our efforts in the Boston area - specifically, we have hosted a basketball tournament for the Home for Little Wanderers for the last 12 years! We have also begun to get more active with Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross, myCHIP, and many others.

One of the core tenets of Freemasonry is to help others. Last Saturday, October 17th, several brothers of Columbian Lodge helped build a porch and basement steps for a worthy family via Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell. The house is part of a new small neighborhood that Habitat is building in Concord, MA. Freemasonry is much more than a dinner club! Ask to learn more.

Happy St. Patrick’s day!

“May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
the rains fall soft upon your fields,
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the hollow of His hand.”
