We are in the middle of the "season" and busy with guests for local weddings, hikers and cyclists, camp pick-up and drop-off, weekend getaways, and even some cooking class groups. And in addition the downtown of Brandon is getting a major facelift with a "new" Route 7 through the center of town complete with new sidewalks and curbs, street lights, trees and landscaping. It's looking closer to finished every day!

A group of 4 is coming this weekend for a Cooking With Chefs getaway. We're doing "Easy Entertaining Dinners" and the Spicy Squash Soup featured below is one of the 4
dishes we will be making.

Really looking forward to guests here this coming weekend. I will be working with 2 couples in the kitchen for an afternoon of making tapas- one of my favorite classes here in the Cooking with Chefs series of lessons.

Also will get to experience one of the best parts of Innkeeping- welcoming back returning guests! Patti and
Harry Carr are coming to celebrate their 25th. wedding anniversary. They got engaged here and they got married here! And they celebrated many of their anniversaries here.
I am so honored that they chose to come back for their 25th!
I have a couple of surprises in mind.
