Douglass Robert Sawyer, passed away [Sunday, March 8, 2020] morning. He valiantly fought cancer the last two years and had such a will to live. He always said “persistence overcomes resistance” and he lived it even to the end. He passed in peace surrounded by family. He can now breathe freely and rest.

We are having a celebration of life this Sunday the 15th from 1-3pm at my parents’ inn, the Lilac inn. All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Breast Cancer Association or the Dana Farber Cancer Center.

I appreciate all of the support, prayers, and love through this challenging time.

Rest In Peace dad. I’ll miss you forever.
