Free Trick or Tree Parade on Saturday, Oct. 31, gives guests a first look at Silver Dollar City's Grand Fir before it heads to the park for the Christmas season. No ticket required.
Silver Dollar City is starting Christmas earlier than anywhere in America. On Halloween morning, the park’s 52 foot grand fir will arrive at Branson Landing after a 2,000-mile trip from Portland, Oregon, and Silver Dollar City will welcome it with the Trick or Tree Parade on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 10 a.m.
Before this beauty makes its way home to Silver Dollar City, we’re giving you the chance to get up close to snap pics and smell Christmas! The Grand Fir will be parked right in front of Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen from 9:30-11 AM. Stop by for a chance to win prizes!
The parade is free and open to the public, and no Silver Dollar City ticket is required. Silver Dollar City characters and hosts will lead the parade along the walkway between the Branson Landing storefronts, joined by local businesses with Christmas-themed entries. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.
After the parade, the Grand Fir will travel down Highway 76 via police es**rt to Silver Dollar City, where it will be decorated with nearly 30,000 lights and serve as the centerpiece of a nightly tree lighting ceremony running Nov 7 through Jan 2
