🐢 Did You Know? We Have a Tiny Home Neighbor!

This handsome male Three-toed Box Turtle has made his home in the woods around our rental tiny home here at Landing View Campground.

We’ve been spotting him regularly as he patrols his little corner of the Ozarks, and we’re always excited when he makes an appearance. Box turtles can live for decades and often spend their entire lives within a surprisingly small home range, so there’s a good chance he’s been calling this area home for many years.

If you’re staying in our tiny home and happen to see him, consider yourself lucky! Please enjoy him from a respectful distance and let him continue his daily adventures.

Nature is one of the many reasons we love living and camping in the Ozarks. You never know what wildlife you might encounter during your stay!
