Look who's back in Breaks, Virginia!
What a pleasure it was to welcome back our friends Chuck and Leslie with Maggie Valley Rides for another two-night stay! We first met this wonderful couple back in May, and it was so good seeing them again! After 37 years of riding together, they're still enjoying these beautiful Appalachian backroads on one of the sharpest Harleys you'll ever see!
Chuck and Leslie, we truly appreciate y'all coming back to see us! Safe travels, our friends, and we look forward to your next visit!

72 visits from one guest, Russell Fork Rendezvous, plenty of familiar faces, and some perfectly cool fall weather!
Another SOLD OUT weekend in the books! We had the pleasure of welcoming Bob Larkin, one of the driving forces behind the Russell Fork Rendezvous, now celebrating its 32nd year! Bob's crew stayed with us for the weekend, along with 8 family members of Michael Daughtery, another wonderful group of people we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know!
And we can't forget Tim, who's become practically part of the family after staying with us a record 72 times over the past 5 years!
It was great seeing Matt & Michelle back again, this time bringing a friend along! We also enjoyed welcoming back Ralph and his family, Terence & Brooke, Todd and Kevin, Bryce & his girlfriend, and of course, "Kayak Matt!"
Our guests certainly made the most of the weekend! From kayaking, ziplining, SXS trail riding, hiking the swinging bridges, weddings, and elk tours to cruising our curvy mountain backroads and enjoying those beautiful mountain sunrises and sunsets!
As much as we love the adventures around here, it's the people who make what we do so special! Seeing familiar faces return, making new friends, and sharing stories around the firepit never gets old. Thank you all for your continued friendship and support! We truly appreciate each and every one of you!

Meet Harry and Ute Krüger, all the way from Gmünd in Carinthia, Austria! These two wonderful people are visiting America, and somehow their travels brought them to our little corner of the Appalachian Mountains! What a fun-loving couple, full of life, laughter, and a genuine zest for adventure! We had such a great time getting to know them!
We gave them a couple of 'Virginia is for Lovers' stickers as a little souvenir of their visit, and before leaving, they surprised us with a beautiful fridge magnet from their hometown, known as the "Artists' Town," so we'd have something to remember them by. And remember them we will! Harry and Ute, it was truly a pleasure meeting you both! Safe travels, our new Austrian friends!

Two more incredible ladies taking on the TransAmerica Bicycle Trail! We loved meeting Grace and Meg and hearing about their journey across America! Meeting wonderful people like these two is what makes what we do so rewarding! Safe travels, ladies! And Grace, we sure hope that knee gets better soon!

Another SOLD OUT weekend, and another reminder of just how blessed we are to do what we love here in Breaks, Virginia!
This weekend we welcomed SXS riders exploring our mountain trails, TransAmerica cyclists making their way across the country, and visitors enjoying everything our beautiful area has to offer! From ziplining at Breaks Interstate Park and kayaking the Russell Fork to rock climbing and hiking, our guests certainly made the most of their weekend!
Different people, different adventures, and so many great stories! After a full day of exploring, it's always nice seeing everyone relaxing around our firepits. Meeting wonderful people from all walks of life, hearing their stories, and being a small part of their adventures is what makes what we do so rewarding. Thank you to everyone who chose to spend their weekend with us. We truly appreciate your support!

Had to give a special shoutout to these two badass ladies! Both made their way to Breaks, Virginia, on their own to do what they love, kayaking! And neither was satisfied with just one run!
Caroline, it was great seeing you again! We sure missed your adorable senior dog, Trout, who accompanied you on your visit last year. We were so sorry to hear of his passing. ❤️
Madi, it was our pleasure meeting you and your four-legged traveling companion, Evie! And when you asked for a late checkout so you could squeeze in one more run down the Russell Fork, we were more than happy to make that happen! After all, that's what you came for! We hope to see you and Evie again soon!

Some weeks remind us just how blessed we are to do what we love!
From kayakers taking on the Russell Fork River to SXS riders exploring our mountain trails, we've had another great mix of adventure seekers visiting us here in beautiful Breaks, Virginia! We are truly blessed to meet so many wonderful people from all walks of life, hear their stories, and be a small part of their adventures.

BIG NEWS FROM BREAKS DINER!
We're excited to officially introduce Liz and Charlie Stiltner as the new management team and partners at Breaks Diner here in Breaks, Virginia!
As many of you know, we've been working hard behind the scenes preparing for a fresh start, with a renewed commitment to great food, exceptional customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Some of you may already know Liz from her many years working at the well-known Dotson's Drive-In in Grundy, Virginia! Dotson's was a longtime local favorite, remembered by many for its great food and hometown atmosphere. Liz brings years of restaurant experience and an understanding of what makes a small-town diner special. Together, Charlie and Liz share our vision for Breaks Diner: Great food, friendly service, and an experience that keeps people coming back and recommending us to others!
OUR SOFT OPENING IS COMING SOON! We'll be announcing the date and details right here on our page, so stay tuned!
We know we have some trust to rebuild, and we're committed to doing just that. We appreciate everyone who has supported Breaks Diner, shared their concerns, and given us the opportunity to make things better.
