Spring Break is here! If you're looking for holiday activities, Village Inn Breckenridge is worth visiting. Hubbard Creek Lake's fishing is good despite lower lake levels.

A recent guest reported:

STEVE S. - Fishing was great as usual. My son caught a bass over 10lb. I caught several over 6lb. Ramp at the dam was easy enough to launch at. Water is low just got to back out a good ways when launching.

Friends and neighbors, Please keep the family of the missing man and all of the search and rescue team in your prayers tonight

Update - 6.12.23 @ 7:00pm.

Unfortunately, the kayaker has not been found as of 7:00pm - 6.12.23. State and local agencies will continue to search until they locate the missing person. We want to thank the public for keeping the waterways clear. The Stephens County Sheriff's Office, Stephens County Constable’s Office and Texas Parks and Wildlife have been tirelessly working to locate the missing kayaker. Special thanks to Village Inn Breckenridge, TX, they have been great hosts and have accommodated first responders in every way. We will provide updates as they are available. Again, a family is missing their loved one and anxiously waiting, and we ask you to remember them tonight.
