The lupines are starting to bloom at the Highland Center! 💜

With green mountains, blue skies, and little pops of purple across the meadow, it’s a beautiful time to slow down, look closely, and enjoy the view.

Reminder that this event is happening in just a few days!! If you want to join Summits in Solidarity for their Miles for Justics Hike-a-Thon this weekend in Crawford Notch, there is still time to join!

On June 6th, AMC partner, Summits in Solidarity,will be in Crawford Notch for their second and final group hiking challenge of their 2026 Hike-a-Thon! 🏔️

Not sure what to hike? Join Philip Carcia, who will be lapping Mt. Willard from 4 AM to 4 PM. Community laps with Phil will happen at 8 AM and 2:30 PM.

Come hike. Log miles. Build community. Help Summits in Solidarity finish the season strong.

Some mornings at the lodge start with mist on the mountains and a quiet check of the day’s conditions. 🌡️
And as of this afternoon, it’s 68 degrees and partly cloudy 🌤️

The Crawford Depot is officially open for the season! We are proud to operate the AMC Macomber Family Information Center in the historic Crawford Depot from May-October.

We will be open on Saturdays through the month of May and then daily starting Friday, June 5, 9:30am-4pm (6pm on weekends)!

White Mountains merch, snacks, mementos, and hiking supplies - all at the base of your favorite (or future favorite) hike! (Don't forget to stop into our historical display room showcasing the history of Crawford Notch!)

We are also proud to partner with Conway Scenic Railroad as they give passengers an exhilarating tour of Crawford Notch on their Mountaineer trains! To book a train trip (starting July 3, round-trip trains are available from Crawford Depot), visit their website at conwayscenic.com!
