Golf is available from end of March - mid-October & The Inn & Dining is open year-round. The centerpiece of Brewster, Washington, the Sands and QuickSands Course at Gamble Sands are located on 115 acres of fine fescue grasses, designed by renowned golf course architect David McLay Kidd. Here, golfers enjoy the feeling of pure golf with panoramic vistas, and the beautiful Cascade Mountains and Columbia River meandering through the distance on every hole. No planes buzz overhead, no traffic rattles in the background. It’s you, your playing partners and golf — the way it was meant to be played.

Small course. Big recognition. ⛳️🙌

QuickSands is ranked No. 5 in Golfweek’s Best 2026 list of public-access par-3, short and non-traditional courses in the U.S.!

If you’ve played it, you know why this place deserves a spot on your Gamble Sands itinerary. A little creativity, a little friendly competition, and plenty of reasons to play another loop.

Thank you, Golfweek, for the recognition and to everyone who makes QuickSands part of their visit.

It’s “Thank a Superintendent Day” — and has said many times he believes has the best fescue in America. But we couldn’t do what we do without the team:

Josh Truan, Director of Agronomy
Rob Ackerley, Superintendent
Shane Preugschat, 1st Assistant
Kevin Fitzpatrick, 1st Assistant
and everyone they oversee.

So take some time to say thanks.
We’re certainly grateful to have them.
And we hope to see you out here soon.
