✨ Keep your eyes on the sky tonight - the Perseid Meteor Shower is reaching its peak! This year is an especially exciting one for viewing, with a new moon creating darker skies and making it easier to spot meteors.

The Perseids are one of the most anticipated meteor showers of the year, happening each summer as Earth passes through a trail of debris left behind by Comet Swift-Tuttle. When those tiny pieces of debris enter our atmosphere, they burn up and create the bright streaks we see as “shooting stars.”

If the skies cooperate, the best viewing time is from midnight to 4:00 a.m. Grab a chair or blanket, find a dark spot away from lights, and give your eyes some time to adjust. Then sit back, look up, and enjoy one of summer’s most incredible natural shows!

As many of you can see and smell, smoke from the Canadian wildfires has moved back into our region, creating poor air quality. With the comfort and well-being of our guests in mind, we’ve decided to postpone this weekend’s Car Show until next Saturday.

We know many of you were looking forward to the Car Show, and we appreciate your understanding as we make this change. In the meantime, please take care by limiting prolonged time outdoors, staying hydrated, and taking breaks indoors if needed. If there’s anything our team can do to help make your stay more comfortable, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
