I looked for a quick weekend get away. The location is great, very close to the Park's entrance where you can go fishing, pedal boats and hiking. On the property. I have to say its one of the cleanest short term rentals that we have stayed at. I am picky on smells, and it didn't have any which is wonderful. Keep whomever your using for cleaning because they do a great job. There were little things that made the stay convenient, small things you forget when you go places. Like wax paper, extra soap bars, many clean towels. There were plenty of trash bags to use, good quality toilet paper, extra paper towels. It sounds like little things, but these matter when you go from one short term rental to the next. The communication was excellent and by change had the opportunity to do early checkin (no extra charge and late checkout). The early checkin helped because we got to enjoy the first day, full day and go out. We left in the morning so did not stay late, but it was good to hear the option was there. You can see the trees and forest from the windows, great view if you want to see trees while your having a meal or just sitting on the porch. Hopefully next time we go, there isn't a burn ban so we can use the fireplace. The house is on a hill, that we didn't expect and we took a minivan. Yes, not the ideal vehicle for 'camping' but the van made it up and down without any issues. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 kids. Thank you for offering the home as a rental!
