🔥 BURN BAN IN EFFECT 🔥
McCurtain County is currently under a Burn Ban, and we want to make sure everyone knows what is and is not allowed while the ban is in effect.
🚫 DO NOT:
• Burn trash, leaves, brush, or other debris
• Have campfires, bonfires, or outdoor fires
• Use outdoor fire pits or burn barrels
• Conduct prescribed or controlled burns
• Burn anything that could potentially spread fire
✅ ALLOWED:
• Propane/LPG and natural gas grills may be used, provided they are on a non-flammable surface and kept at least 5 feet away from flammable vegetation.
Please take this burn ban seriously. With dry conditions, fires can spread quickly and put our homes, property, forests, and first responders at risk.
When in doubt, don’t burn! Help us keep McCurtain County safe until the burn ban is lifted. 🔥🚫
