Dear Family,
We want to get out today to everyone on Facebook. We have booked Madison's Camp Lakodia for the June 2021 62nd Horsley Family Reunion. We made a sacrifice and book it early next year. The dates will be June 11-13, 2021 instead of last weekend in June. This was the only time-frame available for us. We have all the 10 RV Sites and cabins blocked except for the Turk Lodge for that weekend. If all RV sites are reserved, they do have room on the Dining Hall Parking lot for any camper that could park there.
You will need to make your reservations by emailing the director at [email protected] with your address and phone number and they will reserve the cabin or RV site for you and arrange a time to collect your 50% deposit. You may also call Camp Lakodia at 877-525-6342 and leave a voicemail with your name, address, phone number and the dates of the reunion and which cabin or RV site you wish to reserve and they will call you back.
For anyone wanting to camp in a tent that weekend, they do not have reserved tent sites, so you don't need to worry about reserving anything if they are planning on bringing a tent and putting it up on the grounds.

You have only 2 weeks to reserve the cabins. After that all cabins and RV sites will be released to the public for reservations.
Cancellation Policy:
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Accommodations will be held for term of reservations. Guests are responsible for the entire period of their reservation. Should you find it necessary to CANCEL your reservation, please notify us immediately. In the event of a cancellation, the following schedule applies for refunds:
Amount of time prior to event Amount of deposit returned
More than 90 days 90%
30-90 days 50%
Before you cancel your reservation, please let us know to see if any other family member needs a reservation, so we may assist to get your reservation transferred to them.

Craig and I are planning to start getting the 2021 Horsley Reunion reserved. The next reunion will be back in Madison at Camp Lakodia. We are going this weekend to see what dates are available for our group. We will keep you posted on here and by email once we have the dates locked in and secured.

If you haven't made your reservations yet for the Horsley Reunion, please do so SOON. The reunion will be here before you know it. We will be sending out a email to family members that we have email addresses for and flyers for those without email.

If you are planning to come just for the day, the campground asks that you register at the lodge as you come in. You will not be charged for the day as long as you mention you are with the Horsley Family Reunion.

Horsley 60th Reunion T-Shirt Information:
This year we are ordering T-Shirts celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Horsley Reunion. Enclosed is the information regarding t-shirt ordering and website.
Hi Everyone! My name is Kourtney Peterson. I am in charge of our t-shirt ordering for our 60th family reunion. We have new shirts for the reunion! Below is a link to the online group order that I set up for everyone! The link to order t-shirts is: https://www.customink.com/g/wss0-00au-bve1. This link provides additional information for ordering, sizes and cost of the t- shirts. Ordering of t-shirts needs to be made online at their website.

Everyone will pay for their T-shirts individually. The cost of the shirts will be charged immediately to your credit card. The order form is open until May 4th, 2017.
There are two colors of shirts to choose from: Royal Blue and Dark Grey. Each T-shirt cost will be about $10. Right now we have an estimate of 100 t-shirts we will need to order to keep the cost down. If you have any questions about ordering t-shirts, you can email me at ([email protected]), I check my email regularly and should be able to answer any questions or issues you may have.

Attention Family!
Come join us for the 60th Horsley Family Reunion Celebration on July 14-16, 2017 at Camp Lakodia in Madison SD. The potluck will be held at the Lakodia Hall Saturday July 15, 2017 at noon. Please note the change of date due to facility availability.

We have blocked cabins and camping spots from July 1, 2016 – July 22, 2016 under the Horsley Family Reunion or Craig Linn.

If you would like to reserve a cabin/campsite/bunkhouse for the reunion in 2017, please call Camp Lakodia at 877-525-6342 Ext. 1 or Ext. 2 - 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Central Standard Time and reserve your cabin or campsite today.

50% down is needed to hold your reservation. Anything after July 22, 2016, cabins/campsites/bunkhouses will be available to the general public on first- come, first – serve basis.

Tents do not need to pre-register for a spot as we’re allowed 2 tents per paid campsite.

If interested in joining for the weekend and desire alternate accommodations, Madison, SD is 4 miles away with multiple lodging options.

Should you need to cancel your reservation, please let Craig Linn know before turning your reservation back in for refund so we may assist you finding family members that may need a cabin/campsite.
