We are looking to hire an upbeat front desk representative to work the Morning Shifts on the weekends

Responsibilities include:

Greeting and thanking guests in a sincere, friendly manner.
Checking guests in on arrival and out on departure.
Posting charges to appropriate guest accounts.
Anticipating and addressing guests' needs, and resolving their problems and complaints.
Assisting guests with disabilities.
Operating switchboard and assisting with inquiries.
Assisting the reservations manager with taking reservations.
Collaborating and communicating with other internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Complying with company procedures and safety policies.
Performing duties on a daily checklist.

The Front Desk position is a key part of the overall success of the Hampton Inn Broussard. Often, this is the first and last person a guest comes in contact with. It is very important that the individual possesses a strong outgoing personality, with an ability to pay close attention to details. The successful candidate should be able to work well with others, while demonstrating an ability to work unsupervised. Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet guests in a friendly manner and follow check in procedures

Take payments and post accurately to guest accounts.

Follow set polices regarding cash handling.

Communicate with other departments in a friendly and professional manner.

Be aware of local attractions and restaurants and make recommendations to guests.

Handle incoming telephone calls and other guest communication in a discreet fashion.

Accurately communicate with other shifts regarding issues arising from day to day operations.
