BACK COUNTRY BLOW OUT IS COMING JUNE 20!
If you've never experienced a Back Country Blow Out at Rosebud, consider this your official warning.
This isn't just another Saturday at the lake. This is a full day of fishing, food, competition, bragging rights, and enough friendly trash talk to last until next season.
🏆 Two-Person Fishing Tournament
Think you've got the secret honey hole on Lake Traverse? Time to prove it. Grab a partner, hit the water, and compete for 100% payout. Whether you're chasing walleyes or filling the freestyle category, somebody is going home with cash and somebody is going home with excuses.
🎨 Kids Craft Time
While the adults are busy arguing about fishing spots, the kids can join Janet in The Lodge for a special Mother's & Father's Day craft project!
🌶️🍗 WING WARS & CHILI COOK-OFF
Now we're getting to the main event.
If you've been around Rosebud for a few years, you already know things can get a little... intense.
We're talking secret family recipes. Last-minute ingredient changes. Contestants guarding their crockpots like they're protecting national treasures. People suddenly becoming "chili experts" after one sample. Friendships tested. Rivalries renewed.
And don't even get us started on Wing Wars.
Some competitors spend more time perfecting their wing recipe than planning their summer vacation. We've seen competitors confidently predict victory only to be humbled by a guy who showed up with a borrowed smoker and a dream.
Think your chili is unbeatable? Think your wings are legendary? Time to put your taste buds where your mouth is.
Guests will vote one delicious sample at a time, and winners take home 100% of the ticket sales. The official sign up page will be posted THIS SATURDAY!

Finish the night with the Browns Valley Fire Department as they host a meat raffle and bingo fundraiser. Win prizes, support a great cause, and enjoy an evening full of laughs and friendly competition.
