The colors have been changing! The Autumn season will be in full swing soon. October is booked, however we have two weeks in November to plan your get-away. The Fall foliage is running a bit later this year, so colors will still be around in November, not to mention sweater and sweatshirt weather, crackling fires and soaking in the hot tub!

Right on schedule, fall foliage is beginning in Western NC. The highest peaks will start showing colors by next week. Mid-mountain areas where Mountain Loft is located will reach their peak around mid-October, roughly October 15–25th, based on this year's conditions. The lower valleys and foothills turn late October through early November, which is great if you're flexible on timing.

We have available October and November dates for anyone looking for a beautiful cabin to stay in while leaf-peeping!

Western North Carolina is stunning when the leaves turn! This beautiful fall foliage will be here in just a couple of weeks!

We have available dates to book in October and November, right in the peak of fall, when the mountains are red and the weather cools down. Bryson City will be buzzing with activity this season, and there will be many fun events you can enjoy in the area!

One of our favorite fall excursions is the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, which takes passengers on a scenic journey through the mountains during the most beautiful time of year. 🚂🍁 The Polar Express train ride will take its first trip of the season on November 6th. Be sure to purchase your tickets soon, as they tend to sell out quickly.
