Friendly Folk's Farmhouse Our bed and breakfast can be booked through airBnB. We live in an 1881 farmhouse between the towns of Troutville and Buchanan, Virginia.

Our guests today are originally from Sri Lanka and we’ve enjoyed some wonderful conversation with them. I prepared a breakfast of scrambled eggs with peppers and onions, potato pancakes, bacon and sausage and toast. They seem to really enjoy it all.

Some interesting things happening as we are approaching our closing date. Last week we had two sets of guests from China. Then we had two sets of guests who wanted peppermint tea (we had it) and then two guests in the same week with the name Esmae. After our guests tonight, we are down to two final bookings.
