🏡 We Have a Theory About Happiness...
It isn't found in bigger televisions.
It isn't found in checking email one more time.
It isn't found in another meeting that could have been a text.
We think happiness might actually be hiding in older places.
Places with creaky floors.
Places with front porches.
Places where somebody put stained glass in a window simply because it was beautiful.
Places where books still live on shelves instead of screens.
Places where evenings are measured by sunsets instead of notifications.
That's why people often arrive at Hawkins House planning to stay for a weekend...
..and leave wondering if they could somehow move in permanently.
We've watched guests discover things they didn't know they were missing:
☕ Coffee that doesn't have to be rushed.
📚 A good book and nowhere else to be.
🌳 Quiet that isn't awkward.
🎲 Conversations that last longer than expected.
🌙 Sleep that comes easily.
The funny thing is, none of these are luxuries.
They're things we once considered normal.
Maybe that's why Hawkins House feels different.
It's not trying to impress you.
It's simply inviting you to remember.
Remember what life feels like when you slow down enough to actually experience it.
So here's a question:
If you could spend 48 hours anywhere with no obligations, no schedule, and no interruptions...
What would you do?
Tell us in the comments. 👇
(And if your answer involves a historic home, a front porch, mountain air, and absolutely nothing urgent... we might know a place.)
