Stories From the Brick 🕯️
The Glow After Dark
Some buildings come alive at night.
As the sun slips behind the lake and the lights begin to glow, Boyd’s Tavern settles into its favorite kind of evening. The music gets a little louder. Conversations linger a little longer. And guests who came for dinner somehow end up staying for one more drink, one more song, and one more story.
There is something special about the Tavern after hours.
The warm glow from the bar. An old guitar waiting in the corner. The sound of laughter carrying through the room. Friends gathered around bourbon pours while Inn guests wander upstairs at the end of the night without ever needing to leave the property.
People tell us all the time there is just something different about this place. It feels less like a business and more like stepping into an old friend’s home, where the stories keep flowing, the music keeps playing, and nobody is quite ready to leave yet.
That may be the real magic of Boyd’s Tavern and the Inn.
It brings people together.
Neighbors become friends. Travelers become regulars. Strangers end up sharing tables, stories, and sunsets like they have known each other for years. In a world that moves fast, this place somehow slows people down long enough to truly connect.
For generations, travelers have ended their nights here with good company and a warm place to stay. Some came by horseback. Some by car. Now they come for sunsets, live music, bourbon, and weekends they do not want to end.
And when the lights come on at Boyd’s Tavern, the old Inn feels alive all over again. ✨
Stay tuned each Saturday morning as we continue sharing more Stories From the Brick.
