The Malibu Creek State Park Docents host a variety of public programs listed at malibucreekstatepark.org. Some upcoming programs are ranger-guided hikes on Friday nights - 8/14, 8/21 and 8/28 at 7:30pm - 2-3 mile night hikes recommended for ages 12 and up. There's also a 30 minute campfire program at 7:30pm at the amphitheater near the campground this Sat 8/15 and on 8/29.

Preparations are underway for the December ribbon-cutting celebration of the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing in Agoura Hills, which will coincide with the launch of a new conservation partnership.

The crossing spans the 101 Freeway and will be the largest wildlife crossing of its kind in the world, according to organizers.
