One of the funny things about being new to Camden — half the time it’s our guests showing us around.

We moved here two months ago and we’re making it our mission to personally try as much as we can so we can send our guests with confidence. After hearing rave reviews about Peter Ott’s on the Water from multiple guests, we finally took the family for dinner. It did not disappoint.

The harbor views, the decor, the pan seared scallops, the swordfish — all of it. And the kids’ portions were generous enough that no one left hungry. Service was outstanding from start to finish.

We can now personally recommend it from experience. Camden’s restaurant list is long and we’re just getting started.

It’s Foodie Friday at Blue Harbor House Inn. One of Chef Lauren’s specials: spinach and artichoke quiche in a puff pastry crust, served with a watermelon, blueberry and feta salad with pistachios and a balsamic drizzle.
